I feel like I'm playing Fantasy Football in Recruitment, stacking the teams of my clients with supreme talent and cheering them on to watch them succeed!

I worked in Insurance Building for 10 years, making my way up from Customer Service and Administration, to Repair Coordinator, to Head of Accounting and eventually National Operations Manager. I lived and breathed Insurance Building, working out of our Melbourne office and managing a team of 100 people+ nationally. Call me odd, but I also loved not knowing what the next week would bring and where we would be required to assist. I came to dread the 'Make Safe Phone' ring tone, but equally was able to 'turn it on' at any time of day or night, weekdays and weekends and respond professionally and promptly.
I moved to regional Victoria to start a family and was looking to continue my work in the industry with rather limited opportunities in my small country town.

I took a great opportunity to join the world of Recruitment with a specialisation in Insurance Building. I felt I could bring a unique understanding of the clients' needs and a genuine appreciation of the skills and experience of the candidates I was meeting/interviewing, knowing exactly what it takes to thrive in this dynamic industry.

While I sometimes miss the hands-on experience of working in insurance building, now that I have developed close relationships with my industry clients, I genuinely feel like I'm part of the team and helping their businesses thrive. It's a little "cringey" but I feel like I'm playing Fantasy Football in Recruitment, stacking the teams of my clients with supreme talent and cheering them on to watch them succeed!

I love what I do and look forward to a long career continuing to assist businesses and people meet their professional dreams!
